1949, by Dorothy and Gordon F.
Kucera. In 1985, their son Terry
purchased the business and the family
operated it until Gordy’s death in 2005.

Terry has worked closely with Matt and Jerry Kracl for many years and in 2006, the
Funeral Home was made a branch of Kracl Funeral Chapels in Schuyler and David
City. The funeral home has a display of caskets and vaults as well as a chapel
seating up to 140 people. Services are conducted in the funeral home for those
families with no church affiliation. Jerry L. Kracl has performed many services,
tailored specifically to the family’s wishes.
