Thomas Zastro, 81, of David City, formerly of Lincoln, died Wednesday, June 17, 2026, at the Butler County Healthcare Center in David City.
Thomas E. Zastro was born on September 30, 1944 to Jeanne Zastro (Simons) and Elroy Zastro in Milwaukee, WI. He left with little fanfare but was probably telling a joke upon his arrival at the pearly gates on June 17, 2026.
Tom was dad to Trevor and an uncle to several nieces and nephews. He had a zany sense of humor, was well read, was king of the one liners, loved to golf, and frequently traveled throughout the USA for his jobs.
His last few years were spent quietly but still entertaining anyone who would listen. His family appreciates the wonderful care he received at St. Josph Villa, David City.
A memorial service is planned for a future date.
