Born to Anton & Olga (Mastny) Krula of Schuyler, Nebraska born March 28th, 1931. Ray lived on the farm and attended school at District 9 in Colfax County. Married Mildred Krula of Leigh, Nebraska on June 6th, 1953.
They lived on a farm by Leigh for the first few years of marriage and then moved to Omaha where he worked for 39 years at the Union Stockyards in Omaha. He held many part time side jobs including commercial fishing, and at Lorenz Chemical company & GEM store. Ray was a jack of all trades and could fix almost anything worth, or not worth, fixing.
Preceded in death by his parents, Anton and Olga (Mastny) Krula; wife, Mildred (Luxa) Krula; brothers, Arnold, Albin, and Longin; sisters, Mary Ellen (Vodehnal), Cecelia (Machacek), and Maxine (Green); and grandson Frank James Jershin.
Survived by Alveda (Frank) Garey, Donna Taylor, Roy (Verla) Krula, Betty White, Edwin (Debbie) Krula; his four children, Gary (Joyce) Krula, David (Ginger) Krula, Brenda (Frank) Jershin, and Deborah (Daniel) Borcyk; twelve grandchildren; thirteen great-grandchildren; nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
