Keith Hanke, 86, of Prague passed away Thursday, September 10, 2026 at Brookestone in David City.

Private services will be held at a later date.
Keith Hanke of Prague, was born October 20, 1939 to Harold and Hazel (Milton) Hanke in Wahoo, Nebraska. He was united in marriage to Marilyn (Codr) on December 30, 1964 at St. John's Catholic Church in Prague. He passed away peacefully at Brookestone Care Center in David City.
He is survived by his wife, Marilyn (Codr) Hanke, children: Pamela (Mark) Strizek, Rhonda (James) Bergman, and Ronald (Deanna) Hanke, sister, Geraldine Barry, sisters-in-law Laverne Hanke, Lucille Prochaska, Janice (Rudy) Vanek, Loretta Dauel, brothers-in-law, Daniel (Renee) Codr and David Codr.
Grandchildren: Lisa (Sam) Holcomb, Travis (Melissa) Strizek, Roxanne (Brandon Rezac) Bergman, Sophia (Maximino) Ruvalcaba, Jackson (Kennedy McCullough) Bergman, Madison Hanke, Hunter (Addie Priess) Hanke, Sydney Hanke, Rylee Hanke, great granddaughters, Lexi and Sadie Holcomb and Makenzie Strizek.
He was preceded in death by his parents, parents-in-law George and Georgia Codr, son, Roger Hanke, granddaughter, Brenda Strizek, brother, Clarence Hanke, sister, Doris Meece, brothers-in-law, Edward Prochaska, Robert Dauel, and Kenneth Barry.
