Jan Rudolph, 93, of David City, died Monday, May 18, 2026, at the Central Nebraska Veterans Home in Kearney.

A Memorial Service is tentatively set for Thursday, May 28, 2026 at 10:30 A.M.

Janice Rudolph of David City died Monday May 18, 2026 at Central Nebraska Veteran's Home Kearney, NE. She was born November 3, 1932 in Buffalo, NY to Edward and Jean (Marzec) Oatmeyer. She attended Riverside H.S., Mount St. Joseph Academy and Van Sante Business Schools.

Jan served 4 years active duty in the United States Air Force where she met her future husband Lawrence Rudolph. They had six children: John, Thomas, Lawrence, Kathleen, Steven, Robert, and five grandchildren: Andy, Jeff, Lauren, Andrew and Adele.

Jan worked as CEO of Eidos Corporation in Lincoln, NE for 11 years, Fargo
Assembly 5 years and served on numerous county projects including: Association of Retarded Persons; Butler County Health Department; and David Place Nursing Home.
She enjoyed reading world history, watching football, solving crossword and jigsaw puzzles, fellowship at Butler County Senior Center and the occasional casino trip.

Janice is survived by her children, John, Thomas, Lawrence, and Kathleen, grandchildren: Andy, Jeff, Lauren, Andrew and Adel. She is also survived by her mother's sister Helen Slawinski of Buffalo, NY.

She was preceded in death by parents, husband, sons Steve and Bob, brother Paul and granddaughter Lauren.
