Pearl died Sunday morning, January 29, 2012, at the Alegent Health Memorial Hospital in Schuyler

Pearl Dorothy Oltmer was born May 8, 1930, in Schuyler, Nebraska to Clyde and Agnes(Poulas)
Brand.  She graduated from Schuyler High School.  On May 10, 1949, she married Edward Oltmer
at St. John's Lutheran Church in Schuyler.  She lived her entire life in Schuyler.
She owned and operated Pearl's Cafe in downtown Schuyler, worked with Ed at Oltmer's Conoco
and later baked doughnuts at Casey's.  She was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church and the
Schuyler Eagle's Club.
Pearl is survived by her four children, Gilbert and Sharon Oltmer of Schuyler, Kay and Ross Bisson
of Loveland, Colorado, Edward Oltmer, Jr. of Roston, Arkansas and daughter, Gwen Cooper and
Gene Macholan of Schuyler, eight grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and three sisters-in-law;
Dorothy Oltmer of David City, Delores Meister of Blue Mound, Kansas and Marge Oltmer of
Belton, Texas.
She was preceded in death by her parents and  husband Ed in 1979.
