They are shared only with the family Eileen died early Wednesday morning, July 28, 2010, at the Golden Living Center in Schuyler Eileen was born April 28, 1913, on the family farm north of Rogers to Thomas and Margaret(O'hare) Heavican. On June 24, 1935, she married Irvin J. Gerrard in North Bend. They farmed near Schuyler and then lived in Columbus for many years. Eileen worked at Dale Electronics until her retirement. After Irvin's death, she moved to Schuyler. She was a member of St. Augustine's Catholic Church in Schuyler and folded Sunday Bulletins for many years. Eileen is survived by sister-in law Isabelle(Lavern) Kracl and brother-in-law James Gerrard, Sr. of Schuyler and several nieces and nephews including Bernard(Elaine) Heavican of Schuyler who cared for Eileen for many years. Eileen was preceded in death by her parents, husband Irvin, two sisters;Geraldine Krivohlavek and Marguerite Stone and four brothers;John, Tom, Mart and Bill Heavican. |
