They are shared only with the family. Delmar was born October 8, 1937, in Prague, Nebraska to James and Bessie(Novak) Schultz. He attended school in Prague and graduated from Prague High School. On September 12, 1959, he married Doris Thiem at St. John's Catholic Church in Howells. He operated a mobile feed mill and worked for Wright Feeds and Five Star for 50 years. Delmar died Wednesday at the Bryan LGH East Hospital in Lincoln. He was a member of the VFW of Valparaiso, St. Mary's Catholic Church, the Columbus Eagle's Club and Western Fraternal Life Association. He served in the United States Navy Reserves. Delmar loved to hunt, read, watch sports and listen to country music. He was a member of the Country Troubadours band for 37 years. He especially loved spending time with his grandchildren and his loving dog, Penny. He is survived by his wife Doris of David City, two daughters, Donna(Curt) Pearson of Mead, DeAnn(Dwayne) Zessin of Lincoln, four grandchildren, Brian and Lindsey Pearson and Kelsey and Matthew Zessin, nieces and nephews. He is also survived by his sister-in-law Dorothy Schultz of David City. He was preceded in death by his parents and one brother, Donald Schultz |
