Janet O'Hara, 74, of David City, died Friday, February 28, 2025, at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.
Per Janet's wishes, cremation will take place and no services will be held.
Janet S. O'Hara was born April 18, 1950 in Spencer, Iowa to Leonard and Margaret (Davis) Daniel. She graduated from Royal High School in Royal, Iowa. On October 22, 1968 she married Larry O'Hara in Jackson, Minnesota. Shortly after, they moved to Nebraska.
Janet worked at various places including Walmart in Fremont and Columbus, a bookkeeper, Didiers Grocery, and owned and operated her own cafe in Schuyler, Arrow Inn. She was a member of the Eagles Club in Schuyler. Janet enjoyed crocheting, and liked canning and gardening on the farm near Howells.
She is survived by her husband, Larry, of David City and children, Ann, Shanna (Chad) Guernsey, and five grandchildren.
She is preceded in death by her parents, and brother Leon Daniel.
