Margaret "Peggy" (Obershaw) Roder, 74, of Schuyler, died Wednesday, February 26, at her home.

Margaret “Peggy” Roder was born March 25, 1950 in Tilden, Nebraska to Victor H. and Bertha (Milliken) Obershaw. She graduated from Raymond High School. Peggy married Michael Roder and traveled to many places as he was in the service. They then settled in Omaha and she finally retired to Schuyler. She worked as a janitor at Appleton and B-D in Columbus. She was a member of Divine Mercy Parish and was very committed to her Catholic faith.
She is survived by her daughter, Melanie Harper Pipkin of Omaha, sisters, Debby Baker and Manual Hernandez of Schuyler, Teresa Svoboda and John Hermsen of David City, sister-in-law Traci Obershaw of Rogers, two brothers Roger (Penny) Obershaw of Rogers, Paul Obershaw of Wahoo, 3 grandchildren, Austin, Leha, and Colton and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Michael Roder, sister, Lori (Calvin) Tweedy, 3 brothers, Victor A., Timothy, and Chris Obershaw, two nephews, Leo and Joey Obershaw and niece Kirstin Weddle.
