Allan was born March 19, 1932, in Schuyler, to Ernest and Evelyn (Swoboda) Krejci.  He attended District 9 and graduated from Schuyler High School in 1949.  He then went on to the University of Nebraska where he earned a Bachelor's Degree in Agriculture.  He was in the ROTC program and Theta Chi Fraternity during his college years.  He served in the United States Army from 1953-1955, with an honorable discharge  at the rank of  1st Lieutenant. Allan earned his pilot's license as a  young man.  Following a drought year, he went back to the  University and took some business classes.  He was later hired as a full time assistant in the Weed and Seed Division of the State of Nebraska.  Allan then worked for one year at First National Bank in Lincoln.  On July 26, 1959, he married Shirley Ann Stutheit and they lived and farmed northeast of Schuyler.  Allan was very active in his church and community serving as Clerk of the Session of the Presbyterian Church, several positions with the Farm Bureau, President of the Colfax County Feeders Association, Board of Director for the Nebraska Test Station at Concord, Nebraska,  the board for Schuyler State and Pinnacle Banks, Schuyler Memorial Hospital, Past President of the Colfax County Extension Board and District 24 School Board.  Allan loved farming and spending time with his family.

He is survived by his children; twin sons, Stuart (Sue) Krejci of Wahoo and Scott (Susie) Krejci of Schuyler, daughter  Ann Krejci and Bob McEwen of Chadron, 7 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren (with two on the way),  brother Ron Krejci of Lincoln, sister Janette Stoker of California and many nieces and nephews.  Preceding Allan in death were his parents, Ernest and Evelyn Krejci, wife Shirley Krejci, sister-in-law Dorothy Krejci and brother-in-law Abe Stoker.
