Sharleen was born May 19, 1936, in Schuyler to Otto and Ethel (Steppat) Kehrli. She attended area schools and graduated from Schuyler High School. She married John J. Sedlacek. They had two sons and later divorced. John died in 2010. Sharleen loved to travel and had visited Germany twice in the mid 60's and 70's, Wiesbaden (Frankfort), Vogelstang (Heidelburg) and Woburn (Boston) MA, Denver, El Paso, Schuyler and Lincoln. Sharleen also visited Vegas twice, Hawaii, Mollorca, Spain, Paris, France and Northern Europe. She worked as a phone operator in Denver, Tax preparer in El Paso, waitress in Columbus, NE., Maitre'd at the University Club atop the Stuart Building in downtown Lincoln and finally as a cashier at Piggly Wiggly/Sunmart in Lincoln. She retired at age 74. Sharleen loved to play games, gambling and was an avid player of Rummikub. She had a great sense of curiosity.
She is survived by her loving sons, Robert "Bob" John and wife Carmen( Mayhew) Sedlacek of Sun City, Arizona, Alan Keith Sedlacek and Jack Alt, Clarksville, Tennessee and was preceded in death by her parents.
