Frank J. Srb, Jr., 94, of Lincoln, formerly of Schuyler, died Sunday, December 31, 2023 at Tabitha Care and Rehab in Lincoln.
Visitation Thursday, January 4, 2024, 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. with family present, at Kracl Funeral Chapel Schuyler.
Private family services will be held, with committal in the Schuyler Cemetery with Military Honors.

Frank J. Srb, Jr., was born July 27, 1929 on the family farm near Howells, Nebraska to Frank J., Sr. and Elsie (Vidlak) Srb. He attended school in Howells and graduated from Howells High School in 1946. Following graduation he farmed with his father until 1951. Frank served in the United States Army in the Korean War from 1951-1953. Frank married Rose Ann Lodl February 21, 1955, and they moved to Schuyler. Frank was a letter carrier for the United States Postal Service, retiring in 1989. He was a member of the Masonic Acacia Lodge #34 of Schuyler for over 50 years. He also served as a board member for the Schuyler Housing Authority for over 20 years. He was also a member of the National Association of Letter Carriers, branch 89 of Fremont.
Frank enjoyed gardening and took pride in taking care of his yard. He liked to share his produce with his neighbors. He and Rose Ann would enjoy getting a new Pontiac, and taking it on trip.
Frank is survived by his sons, James (Lori) Srb, Roger (Jamie) Srb, all of Lincoln. Grandchildren Andrew (Fiance Bethany Renz) Srb, of Omaha, Tyler (Haylea) Srb of Cedar Bluffs, Audrey, Julia and Jacalyn Srb all of Lincoln. Niece Lana (friend Marv) Janousek of Norfolk, Nephew Larry (Barb) Lodl of Highlands Ranch, Colorado. He was preceded in death by his parents, and wife Rose Ann in 2011.
