Donna Kracman-Lopour, 77, of Schuyler, died Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at the Stanton Health Center in Stanton.

Memorial Mass, Saturday, January 27, 2024  10:30 a.m.   Divine Mercy Parish, St. Mary's Catholic Church, Schuyler, Nebraska.    Rev. Thomas Leitner, O.S.B.,  Rev. Jairo Enrique-Congote, Con-celebrants. 

Visitation, Saturday, January 27, 2024  9:00 a.m., with a 9:45 a.m. rosary at the church.

Lunch will follow at St. Mary's Social Center

Donna Jean Kracman-Lopour was born in Columbus, Nebraska, on May 27, 1946 to Gladys (Barcal) and Benjamin Kracman. She graduated from Schuyler Central High School in 1964. After graduation, Donna traveled the world and lived in multiple cities, including Denver, Colorado; Minneapolis, Minnesota; Atlanta, Georgia; and Manhattan, New York. Donna moved back to the Schuyler area in 1980 and was married to Ronald D. Lopour of Clarkson in January 1983. Donna was a proud homemaker and crafter while raising two children, Michael A. and Tamara J.

Donna was an incredibly outgoing, gregarious, fun-loving lady who enjoyed making new friends and meeting new people. Donna had an amazing talent for crafting and quilting with a keen eye for color and pattern coordinating. She cherished the friendships that developed through participation in FCE (Family Community Education), crafting circles, and from quilting retreats. She was always ready for an adventure and lots of laughter with her friends.

Donna is survived by her husband, Ronald, of Clarkson, Nebraska; son, Michael, of Schuyler, Nebraska; and daughter, Tamara, of Windsor, Colorado, and sister Shirley Jedlicka of Schuyler.  She was preceded in death by her parents.
