Carson James is the son of Chris and Sandy Schuster of Sherman, Texas. Also surviving Carson are his grandparents; Ron and Betty Henggeler of Schuyler, Brenda Schuster of Plattsmouth, James (Ruth) Schuster of Omaha, two great-grandmothers; Emily Knapp of Schuyler and Dottie Engle of Plattsmouth, several aunts, uncles and cousins. He was preceded in death by great-grandparents.
