Kathryn Lynn Kluck, 59, of Centennial, Colorado, died Saturday, June 2, 2018, at her home.

Kathy was born February 5, 1959, in Schuyler, Nebraska to M. Duane and Melvajean (Gewecke) Kluck.  She graduated from Schuyler High School in 1977 and continued her education at UNL where she earned a BSBA in Accounting.  In1983 she moved to Centennial, Colorado and worked in the Denver area for Oppenheimer Funds, Inc. from 1983-2000 in accounting and IT auditing, 2002-2009 at Nordstrom as IT Supervisor and Manager of Business analysis and from 2010 until her health forced her to retire, she was Quality Assurance IT Manager for Trust Company of America.  She was a member of the Palos Verde Civic Association Neighborhood Board for several years.

Kathy was an avid golfer, playing in a couple of women's leagues each summer.  She loved to travel and played golf in Arizona, Hawaii, Nevada and Colorado.  She was very enthusiastic, competitive and fiercely independent.  She had a very positive outlook on life and attempted climbing Mt. Kilimanjaro between chemo treatments.  Kathy loved time spent with family, friends and her pets.

She is survived by her mother, Melvajean Kluck of Schuyler, one brother, Darrel (Nancy) Kluck of Center Point, Iowa, two sisters; Susan (Chuck) Emanuel of North Bend and Cindy (Al) Sadowski of Omaha, many nieces and nephews and special friends, Linda and Joe Loveland and Lynn and Wayne Coluccy, all of the Denver area.  She was preceded in death by her father, M. Duane Kluck.
