Roger Kluck, 72, of Schuyler passed away Monday, August 31, 2026 in Omaha.

Roger was born January 14, 1954, one of the first babies at Schuyler Memorial Hospital, to Raymond and Marcella (Purchase) Kluck.  He attended District 60 and District 3 then graduated from Schuyler High School in 1972 where he was a proud member of the FFA.  He attended Platte Junior College for one year and on November 8, 1975, married Genelle Wachal at St. Mary's Catholic Church in Schuyler.  They lived in Richland from 1975-1980 and Roger served as Mayor.  They moved to the farm in 1980. Roger was a Golden Harvest seed dealer,  farmer, ran Kluck Hay Company and loved auctions, antiques, garage sales and John Deere tractors.  He also served on the Colfax County Zoning Board. His greatest passion was being with the kids and grandkids while being involved in their 4-H.

Roger is survived by his wife, Genelle, of Schuyler, son Brad (Carissa) of Richland, 2 daughters, Krista (Alan) Osantowski of Rising City, Kelsey (Seth) Cada of David City, 2 brothers, Craig Kluck of Schuyler and Quinn (Sheila) Kluck of Richland, 9 grandchildren, and 1 great-granddaughter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brother Gary Kluck, in-laws Richard and Colleen Wachal, and brother in law Richard D. Wachal.
