Duane Horn, 90, of Schuyler, died Saturday, March 2, 2024, at the Clarkson Care Center in Clarkson.
In lieu of flowers, plants and statues the family requests memorials to the Colfax County Senior Center or the Colfax County Veterans Memorial

Duane was born July 15, 1933, in Leigh, Nebraska to Hans and Martha (Menke) Horn. He graduated from Leigh High School and attended Midland College for three and a half years. On September 15, 1962, Duane married Helen Uher at St. Wenceslaus Catholic Church in Dodge. They lived and farmed in the Wilson area, moving to Schuyler in 1984. Duane loved visiting with everyone and spending time with his grandkids.
He is survived by three daughters; Susan (Lynn) Faltys of Schuyler, Sandra Goul of Mesa, Arizona, Sharon Horn and Jason Pfenning of Gretna, one son Steven Hornof Windsor, Colorado, granddaughter Drea Goul, two grandsons, Tyler Faltys and Trent Faltys and his fiance Kimberly Johnson. and great-granddaughter Daisy Johnson. He was preceded in death by his parents, wife Helen in 2010 and son-in-law Kenneth Michael Goul.
