Visitation Wednesday, January 24, 2024 4:00 p.m. to 6:00 p.m. at Kracl Funeral Chapel in David City. Rosary 6:00 p.m. at Kracl Funeral Chapel. Additional visitation 9:00 a.m. till mass time at Appleton.

Margaret Sima was born March 4, 1930 at Prague, Nebraska to Frank and Emma (Shultz) Dvorak. Margaret's mother died when she was just 3 years old and she was raised by her grandparents, John and Barbara Shultz. She attended country schools near Prague and graduated from Prague High School in 1948. In October of 1951 Margaret was united in marriage to Jerry Sima at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Bruno. Two Children, Vern and Karen were born to this union. Margaret and Jerry farmed 5 miles east of David City. While on the farm she enjoyed canning, gardening and Czech bakery. She also enjoyed raising chickens, ducks and geese. Jerry died April 8, 2000, and shortly after in October of 2000 Margaret moved to David City. While in David City she was very active in the Butler County Senior Center. She was a member of Assumption Catholic church and the PCCW. Margaret had live at St. Joseph's Villa since 2018.
She is survived by her son Vern (Debra) Sima of Lincoln, Daughter Karen (David) Kyncl of Lincoln, Grandson Brian Kyncl of Seattle, WA, Granddaughter Brittany Kyncl of Denver, CO, Step granddaughter Valerie Gottula of Rocky Mount, NC. Great grandson David Rocha. She was preceded in death by her parents, and husband Jerry.
