Terry Silvester, 73, of Howells, died Friday, July 14, 2023, at his home near Howells.

Terry was born on January 19, 1950, in Binkleman, Ne, to Mark and Lois (Morgan) Silvester. He attended several different schools growing up but graduated in 1967 from Papillion High School. After high school, he served in the Army as a Green Beret. After his time in the service, Terry returned to Schuyler and worked several different jobs until 2014. In 1969, he married Dianne, from this union, Brian was born. In 1972, he married Barb, from this union, Cory was born. In 1998, he married Deann. Terry was known for his love of horses, dogs and any John Wayne or Clint Eastwood film.
Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Deann of Howells, Ne; mother Lois Silvester of Schuyler, Ne; son Cory (Erica) of Weatherford, Tx; stepdaughter Miranda Cech (Joe Svasek), of Columbus, Ne; stepson Daniel Cech (Jessica) of Howells, Ne; stepson Jeffery Cech (Mindy) of Schuyler, Ne; stepson Joseph Cech of Howells, Ne; brother Mark (Debi) Silvester of Schuyler, Ne; sister Susan (Leon) DeValkenaere of Schuyler, Ne; 1 grandchild and 10 step grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father Mark Silvester and son Brian.
