Greg "Eggo" Ourada, 63, of Prague, died Friday, March 25, 2022, at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.

Greg was born October 29, 1958, in David City to Leonard and Helen (Havlovic) Ourada. He attended public school and graduated from Prague High School in 1977. Greg loved Prague and served on the Village Board, was a fireman for 37 years and chief for 13 years. It was Greg who created the annual "Run to Rescue" fundraiser held each year in Prague. He loved Big Red Football, Nascar, Budweiser, hunting and fishing and traveling. Greg really liked Puerto Vallarta and also went to Alaska, as well as the Czech Republic. He worked for Truck Equipment Service Company (formerly Cornhusker 800) in Lincoln.
Greg is survived by his mother, Helen Ourada of David City, two sisters; Robin (Buzzy) Nyffeler of Columbus, Terese Croghan of David City, four brothers; Jim (Diana) Ourada, Osceola, Steve (Arlene) Ourada, Dan (Dayle) Ourada and Roger Ourada, all of Prague and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his father, Leonard in 1998, grandparents Anton and Rose Ourada, James and Tillie Havlovic and his dog "Husker."
