Daniel David Drueppel, 52, of Schuyler, Nebraska, passed away at his home on September 16, 2026.
Private family services will be held.
Born on September 7, 1974, in Schuyler, Nebraska, to Harold N. and Josephine Drueppel, Dan was the youngest of their 12 children, completing the Drueppel family. Dan loved spending time outdoors and enjoyed being near any body of water. Above all, he was incredibly proud of his three children, who were a constant source of joy throughout his life.
Dan is survived by his three children: Kacie Drueppel, Cierra (Sam) Stamey, and Drake Drueppel, all of Wilmington, North Carolina. He was especially excited to become a grandfather and was eagerly anticipating the arrival of Baby Stamey in October.
He is survived by his 11 siblings: Norbert Drueppel and his wife, Melody; Mary Miratsky and her significant other, Hans Pahl; Don Drueppel and his wife, Bonnie; Raymond Drueppel and his wife, Mary Jo; Richard Drueppel; Harold Drueppel and his wife, Vicki; and Anthony Drueppel and his wife, Lisa—all of Schuyler, Nebraska; Catherine Drueppel and her husband, William Gill, of Plattsmouth, Nebraska; Martin Drueppel and his wife, Julie, of Lincoln, Nebraska; Ann (Drueppel) Harding and her husband, Robert; and Theresa Drueppel of Schuyler, Nebraska. He is also survived by his many nieces and nephews, who will cherish his memory. He was preceded in death by his parents, Harold and Josephine Drueppel, and nieces JoAnna and Jessica Miratsky.
Dan will be deeply missed by his family and all who had the privilege of knowing him.
