Julia Faye Osborn was born October 24, 1929 in Beaver County, Oklahoma to Clarence and Opal (Baker) Smith. Faye attended school in Lamar, Colorado and graduated from Lamar High School. On January 9, 1949, she was united in marriage to Fred A. Osborn of Pleasant Heights Baptist Church in Lamar, Colorado. Fred and Faye moved to Rising City in the 1960s and operated Community Builders for 20 plus years. Faye worked as the book keeper for community builders and also for Osborn Sales and Service for many years. She had also worked at Dr. Conrad's office in Columbus for 3 years. Faye enjoyed sewing for her kids and grand kids.
She is survived by her three daughters, Beverly Gissler of Osceola, Marilyn (Dave) Nicolas of Bellwood, Nancy (significant other Terry Shunkwiler) Osborn of Lincoln, four sons, Jim (Lynn) Osborn of Minden, Doug (Jeanne) Osborn of David City, Wendell (Jonell) Osborn of David City, Wesley (significant other Kerry Kirby) Osborn of David City. 19 grandchildren, 40 great grandchildren, and a great great grandson. Sister Pauline (Darrell) Craighead of Jetmore, KS. Faye was preceded in death by her parents, Husband Fred, 2 brothers, Ray Smith and Ross Smith, 2 sisters Clarine Osborn and Doris Moore. 2 great grandsons Nicolas Pachta, Weston Nicolas, son in law Alan Gissler.
