Linda Lou Hlavac was born in Athens WV. on Christmas day, 1946, to Alvin F.  and Hazel (Hall) Rogers Sr.  Her family moved to David City when Linda was 16.  In 1965 she was married to Charles Cemper, and together they had a son Robert Dean Cemper in 1967.  They were divorced in 1971.  In January  of 1973 her and Merle "Butch" Hlavac were married, and operated Hlavac Tree Service together. They had daughter Lisa Gail Hlavac in 1979.  Linda was a loving homemaker. She was baptized into Redeemer Lutheran Church in David City, where she was a Sunday School teacher for several years. Butch passed away in 1994, and Linda began her career in the machining industry.  She was employed at Appleton Electric for 10 years before transitioning to Flex-Con, where she retired from in 2017.  After retiring, Linda's time was spent being a foster parent, working in her beautiful flower gardens, and spoiling ever child she possibly could.

Linda is survived by Life Companion Randy McNally of David City, Sons Robert "Bobby" (Kim) Cemper of Columbus, Marc Hlavac (and Margo) of Garrison, Daughters Lisa Hlavac of Shenandoah, Iowa, Teri (Rod) Dostal of Howells.  Brother Scott (Christi) Rogers of Pinedale, Wyoming, Sisters-in-law Sharon Rogers and Doris Rogers.  Granddaughter Ciera Cemper, Grandsons Eric James and Riley Hlavac, and many great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Husband "Butch", Brothers Alvin, Michael and David.  Sisters Patricia Gerlach and Juanita Rhoades.
