Lyle was born October 8, 1952 in Columbus, Nebraska to Kenneth and Lois (Conrad) Stubbert. He graduated from Columbus High School in 1970. Lyle was married to Marilyn Sindelar and four children were born to this union. He later married Patty Yates on December 3, 1999 in Columbus. They have lived in the David City area for the last 20 years. Lyle was a mechanic and also had worked at Excel (Cargill) in Schuyler for many years. He was a member of the Eagles Club in Schuyler. He loved to play pool and ride motorcycles.
Lyle is survived by his wife Patty of Ulysses, Sons Allen of Columbus, Jason of San Tan Valley, AZ, Mark of San Tan Valley, AZ. Daughter Crystal (Don) Taylor, Jr. of Wahpeton, ND. Step Children Jesse (Jacey) Wells of Plainview, NE, Kati Wells of David City. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents, mother-in-law Harriet Yates, sister Joanie Hohrman and step daughter Becky Wells.
