John Bialas, 74, of rural Bellwood, passed away Friday, November 28, 2025 at his home.

A private service with Military Honors will be held at a later date.
John Bialas, age 74 of Rural Bellwood, passed away at his home on Friday November 28, 2025. He was born August 17, 1951 in Central City, NE to Emil & Helen Bialas.
John joined the U.S. Army where he was stationed in Germany from 1970-1973, with Honorable discharge. He was very proud to be able to serve his country.
In 1975, he married Dayle Scheffler and a son Seth was born to this union. Also at that time John, adopted Dayle's daughter, Diana. They later divorced. Then May 29, 1981, he married Kathy Hamrick, she had 2 sons Timmy & Mike, which had lost their father in a car accident, so in time, John had also adopted Kathy's 2 boys. Two months shy of him & Kathy being married 40 years, John lost the love of his life on April 1, 2021.
John, had a love for music, he played several different instruments, he even played in a band for several years. He also loved his Harley, he was a long time member of a motorcycle club called the Scoripons.
John is survived by his daughter, Diana McDonald of David City, grandkids Kristi (Mikey), Michael (Regina) & Logan (Krysten), Great grandkids, Landen, Treyten, Camden, Jeaven & Alaina, Miles & Leo. Son, Seth (Lisa) Bialas of Georgia, grandkids, Braxton (Calab), Baylie (Aaron) & Brylie. Sons, Tim Bialas (Donna) of Grand Island & Mike (Shelly) Bialas of Shelby. Johnnie's Sisters, Angie Ahrens of Columbus, NE, Elaine (Gary) Morris of Waverly, NE, Mary Westerbuhr of Columbus, NE, Emily Gregruas of Bee, NE, & Brother Jim (Vivan) Bialas of Columbus & several niece's & nephew's.
John proceeded in death by his wife Kathy, their beloved dog Chewy, his parents, unborn twin grandsons Deacon & James, brothers in law, and his niece and nephew Chris & Steve Pelan.
