Kathleen Rogers, 68, of David City, died Saturday, April 15, 2023, at St. Joseph's Villa in David City.

Kathleen was born August 10, 1954, in Humphrey, Nebraska to Delwin and Marguerite (Behrens) Melcher. She attended school in Humphrey and graduated from Humphrey High School. In 1978, she married David Rogers and they made their home in David City while working at the packing house in Schuyler. She later worked at Dale's Food Pride in David City. She loved playing cards and Bingo and most of all, spending time with family.
Kathleen is survived by her son, David Rogers, Jr. of Terre Haute, Indiana, mother Marguerite Melcher of Grand Island, two grandchildren, Lily and Michael Rogers, one brother Larry (Rita) Melcher of Grand Island, two sisters; Debbie (Bob) Zimmerer of Clovis California, Becky (Rob) Foster, Scottsdale, Arizona, nieces, nephews and many friends. She was preceded in death by her father and husband David who died March of this year.
